We went with the Stewies and the Moonies and it was incredible. I can't say enough about how great it was to get away with just Steve and see some beautiful places. In the beginning my arm was sore and my face was still scabbed but I knew the cruise would be relaxing and the only thing I was worried about was not being able to get my face in the sun. That worry didn't last long, I figured I am almost 50 so after the first day of putting suntan lotion on my scrapes I just said what the heck and off I went to enjoy the sunshine and there was plenty of it!!!

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm3HhtxUvlpPP-ZGvWOd3EnM917oZogt235ysdq-aIdpgdM1jbdJOGUsaVUQ-n5e1QIXxUNoX23chAdnS4CQlVpfR5RBk2-btQ7nGAWsWHlon8qhhe-r9BmAA1cCfgD93YrDOTCs4tNpQ/s400/PA260058.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269067280725934642" />
Park in LA where girls were dancing.

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3MexNEwFfyqztglGgFrKI4Rns2DdTSLY_RYVyYzhF0xktSZgk8m11ve3cI-NQ3_y1Yff88aIZ2SeKI1lZleMElEdwVdtLXI7JMJ0WZVGTs-zQSTNxFk6e0WFRlTsQV5U1eqkl4uJntXk/s400/PA260063.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269067867227866002" />
Can you say Muster Station?

Our first day at sea was awesome, sat by the pool and loved listening to the steel pan music of the carribean.

Our first port of call was Cabo San Lucas and it was awesome. It was awesome!!

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUkx8MU-U9_R8_pT1nRiIq4girVldvmSPwLPTo2pHX7EdkXNcMApXcZtA01uIcf5nD-krOQzrvuIrJEEgWgT1PJTRAYQC9vRU7_lX9bLJarCMZ8-QicGwinYmN6pvKnXaHXhMIW806hkI/s400/PB020199.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269075231544539586" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUojtOl_6MppDMqVQE1mLyDTnyN__p5YQq8MsWbJaSKla1SM26HI-XU6vrqxgoKVJ1NdQ44S8UWi2hzfds6K3cn3BxO7r5NnKkDJmiGGbN-hKPl-zpgBt63ecRhFQE8zu-irfRbKfO-cA/s400/PB020182.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269075222339802034" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSaG18IAjt5ixXF5JhhOxuz9AlGMgdLywS97rwUkm0N-2qeoaycFnF4HHxM9TH3HzatC1eoPw_B-FjKdhmM1upJmLhWqCjNTn9V7isOX232OJ1NC0WorFfXQxH2RMmIkxRcZ598Eu51FI/s400/PB010175.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269075213226888194" />

Then it was off to the Canal. This was the only port where we had the whole day. In the morning we went to the beach and rented a hobie cat catamaran. The Stewies and us went sailing for about an hour. It was way fun. We met up with the Moonies at lunch and they wanted to go shopping and we went horseback riding. I am scared to death of horses but yet I love the idea of riding a horse on the beach so off we went. My horses name was Antonio Banderas. Supposedly Mel's horse (Party Boy) was the one that likes to lead but not this time and needless to say I was way freaked out when my horse took off. It turned out to be everything I had thought it would and I felt like a little kid in a candy store or maybe even at Disneyland. I was so excited. Aruba was the first place that we went that we could find a Mountain Dew for Criddy. After we were done riding we felt the need to wash our hands. Criddy grabbed his Dew, went for the first sink he could find and well the picture says it all.
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibFOKgSsk3EovCTk8uGSb-Wvp3olF92hRHr-VTnCIVRMSjOkLgOqVuEoDwp56JZle7gyR9x7Gpo1t1CdM8TT5YxCxv6vlNPsps4Wu0EXnO6QQAukN6_kvDM6l6uO4qkZoBkdDB2YhYXDM/s400/PB060081.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269329963238066866" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3BnGYI2MOVing653CpBdS1Eb9T_BCsguFSWkDbIfh2cpRvSZ6ebEyHNwzIxiKE-Vt6nchym6RdjQPOEF-YzcAAgB7O3W-Vporej-S_YzloajjZ_dW3TQLWO7pB6Ldioyd-V-r1lZPCsU/s400/PB060112.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269329958590525202" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihDCXRsGOTsGOewZgS66zPdcKsPoxIwg_tDIe8CHb5mlOlfd8E_EGldemh3hlEticoo8cyWMRfkHTebzh-j_JjCw3LbyWfWBJbm095XwgBJVnPyHM2zRaHxu_FunxM9KeziQO2lj9Hbn4/s400/PB060114.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269329953693674866" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimgNhcgp3x3nnMH0DbAOpx0ra48wgnC1vxin6Tl3aqbb6Fxio31qz9fM4Q-KNdeibr720cwFrtEqcUcCg-6xTqKZPBLBoSamG0LWj_BmdzCDLJaUtlKWuS6hBLxnOOZ0I3_WhMUzJxLNg/s400/PB060095.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269329938783124578" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJfve0ZLHYhZDWAxXoHngdOg12VcF8RVq9NackIq2UsYr9amG4qY9707y6rxmw_LwxFPOnk1dgLUYt4huRlPmyMmKhBPqYKFFKbyTjhgojOV6xjevFGHLEGBFgUeli6cDWNeAc07RS4uk/s400/PB060119.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269329921964284802" />
Our last port was Puerto Rico where we got off the ship and stayed in a hotel for a couple of days. It was way awesome, I don't know why we didn't take many pictures, maybe cuz we had been there before but we went to Old San Juan, Barrachina (the first place the pina colada was made)and spent one day sailing and snorkeling on a catamaran. They provided lunch and drinks and fruit and took us to 2 different spots. The first wasn't that great as far as visibility, but I did get to see a purple jelly fish up close. The second spot was more colorful. Our pals (the stewies) saw a barracuda but we weren't so lucky. I realized how much I enjoyed being around the ocean and the beautiful water of the carribean and really didn't want my trip to end even though I missed my kids terribly. As we got further away I became antsy to get home but of course we had to go thru atlanta first. About an hour before we were ready to land Steve told me he was short of breath and still had the pain in his left side. (He had complained of that when we got to Puerto Rico, but thought he had pulled a muscle.) He said he was light headed and felt like he was going to pass out and just in case anything happened he wanted me to know his symptoms. I told him to put his head down but there wasn't any room. About 5 minutes later he told the lady in the aisle seat to move and took off for the back of the plane. I don't know that he actually passed out but ended up on the floor of the plane with an IV in his arm. His blood pressure had dropped. There happened to be a nurse and a cardiology Dr. on the plane as well as my friend Mel (who stayed in the back of the plane with Steve. I was pretty much helpless and emotional during the whole thing. After the plane landed Steve and I took an ambulance ride to an Atlanta Hospital. After running tons of tests, chest xrays and urine samples they felt he could fly home. So Steve and I flew home on Tuesday. My pals the Moons and the Stewies are incredible. Criddy and Moonie gave Steve a blessing on the plane, Mel stayed with him and even offered to stay behind with us in Atlanta and they all took care of getting my luggage in Salt Lake.

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhobe4Xg_XxOBW6_jbWdIgmrK5-WDshEk_z5JlZLv4OoF2m36VEiuidBPKGtMVZ2NgrGsiI8GH1mH9ZSKo2XzG6rlZY5rR0romi9PlBAp9C7Jm8xKfxAUKSVL7hHbggWVnjEY0qERowypg/s400/PB100142.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269336072958910770" />

The doctor sitting on the plane during the landing. Usually we stay close to the marina's but Steve decided he wanted to get away this time so we loaded up the gas cans and drove down the lake. We stayed in what is called the Rincon and it was fantastic. The water was smooth, their was a porta potty close by and hardly anybody was there. We had a bad storm the first night which I slept thru but it rained pretty hard. After that a couple of sprinkles here and there but when the water is 80 degrees you can stand that. I still struggle with this blog stuff so here is a run down of the pictures. Of course our boat up davis gulch. Ryan and Garrett and Tyson had climbed up to the arch so we were just waiting for them below. Tyson is doing a flip on the knee board, Ryan caught the biggest lizard he has ever seen and then he is wakeboarding and Josh is upside down wakeboarding going into his flip. Jeremy and Lianna couldn't come as well as Rachel so we missed them. I love Lake Powell, have to have warm water and sun and the beauty of the Lake is like no other place close by that I know of. It was good to get away!

Bobbie's blabberingshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09313781959670356318noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773822763368851095.post-86277724162716358852008-08-17T11:48:00.000-07:002008-08-17T12:07:14.696-07:00Neighbors....So I have been wondering about a particuler neighbor who keeps his yard groomed all summer. He has a makeshift stream that runs in the front, always plants beautiful flowers in the spring and every week is out mowing, edging and blowing the loose grass around. I have been jealous a few times because Steve is not known to love to do yardwork so it would end up being me or the kids. That would explain why I am filling my yard with perennials and rocks. What I am sure to do is make my lawn always green, I really don't care the cost of watering I just know in July and August I have to water twice a day if I want my yard to stay green. Not that I am trying to stay up with the neighbors but I have always loved a green lawn that looks like it might want to be sat upon. Well these immaculate looking yard owners even surprised me! I have started walking a little bit to try and get in better shape and as I would walk past their house I noticed the lawn was dying in the mow strip and along the edge of the sidewalk. Not all of it just spots here and there. Now having already suffered from dead lawn because of a bug, which happened when we first moved in and even killing off my old lawn because it had grown tall fescue grass which I hated, I pride myself in knowing that they just needed to turn the water on more. The sorry condition of the lawn was because of owner neglect and not because of something out of their control. So imagine my surprise when I walked on Monday night having to pass the dying lawn only to return on Tuesday and it was nice and green. The DEAD giveaway was the fact that the color they spray painted it with didn't exactly match the color of the lawn. What was even sadder was they didn't spray all of it at once only the mow strip so it was another day before the other spots on the lawn were sprayed the same non matching color. So it makes one wonder, did they really think they were fooling anybody by spraying the lawn, couldn't they notice that the lawn that was by the stream was in perfect condition because it was getting water and the lawn by the flowers because they were getting water so how about just increasing the water to the rest of the lawn thereby saving you the expense of buying cans of spray paint to use on the lawn? OR were they aware that I had started walking to feel better, or that I had just started a blog and would need material to talk about or are they just CRAZY??Bobbie's blabberingshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09313781959670356318noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773822763368851095.post-74406848530024401592008-08-10T13:54:00.000-07:002008-08-10T14:11:04.581-07:00How was your weekend??

So Steve decided he wants to go hike the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim. Some might wonder why I would consent to this when my previous blog was about being alone and him being gone. He has been working on getting in shape this summer so I couldn't help but let him go. He left on Friday night and drove to the north rim of the grand canyon. He hiked 32 miles on Saturday going 3/4 of the way. By the end he could barely put one foot in front of the other, but he made it and is now walking like a very old crippled man. He was so proud of himself and I am proud of him for doing it. Of course he found another pair of sunglasses. Seems every trip he goes on he finds a nice pair of sunglasses. Because of his desire to save gas, he took the galant and left the big truck with us. Ryan had the truck Friday night so Saturday it is Rachels turn to have the truck. She had agreed to pick up Tyson and his friends so I wouldn't have to. Well on her way to pick them up it had started raining really bad and she lost control of the truck turning right at the light and took out a tree in Draper. Quite a big tree and we will have to wait for a couple of days to see the damage on the truck. Needless to say, I bet it is totaled. So here we are without a car, Steve in the Grand Canyon with no service, quess that means no church cuz I am not walking. It all turns out ok because I was able to rent a car from Enterprise. NO they don't pick you up on Sundays! Now Steve is driving a mercury mountneer until we find out the injuries to the truck. As for Rachel she is fine, this is her 2nd wreck in a truck, one at the hands of her dad who totaled the black toyota tacoma and now the ford f-150. Wouldn't you know neither trucks airbags activated! Does anyone think I might have a legal case?
Bobbie's blabberingshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09313781959670356318noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773822763368851095.post-7352331992883596422008-08-05T19:15:00.000-07:002008-08-05T19:41:51.910-07:00OshKosh and Ford Mustangs

Steve took his dad and Tyson back to OshKosh Wisconsin to see the biggest airshow. His dad has always wanted to see it and so Steve decided to take him back there (sorta like a bucket list item for those who have seen that show). They saw alot of planes, airshows, movies on a blow up big screen and even had a night with Harrison Ford at the campground. Apparently his cousin is the CEO of Ford Motors and hence the mustangs were there as well. Tyson was in 7th heaven as he loves mustang cars. He actually loves the older models but his dad was able to snap some pictures of some mustangs that he thought were pretty SWEET. Now for those of you who have read my earlier blog postings you will know that I don't like to be alone. Even though this trip was planned months ago, no one realized that Steve and Tyson would be gone, Rachel would be at EFY and Ryan would be in Lake Powell with his friend Garrett and his family. So that leaves me and the dog alone to fend for ourselves. Of course the third night alone I have a bad dream about Steve and another woman. For those of you who have/had those dreams you know how real they can be. I wake up bawling the next morning and immediately call steve. I need to make sure he loves me of course. Well there is no answer and so I leave a message amongst the tears. After I have been at work for awhile I realize that he has not called back so of course I start texting him. Where are you, did you get my message, please call me to name just a few. That is Tuesday. Well Wednesday comes and still no Steve. Finally Wednesday night I get a call from him. Of course he left the phone in the truck! After reasurring me that he does love me, it was just a dream and he will call every single night I am feeling better. He lives up to his word and calls me on Thursday and again on Friday. He is supposed to come home Sunday morning sometime after he drops Tyson off to scout camp. By the way, I won't be seeing Tyson for 3 weeks, which I was not looking forward to. Well in walks Steve and Tyson, Friday around 5 pm. I couldn't get the grin off my face for several hours. The hugs and tears I think let them know how much I missed them. The best part was I got to spend time with Tyson before he had to go back to scout camp and work. After finally getting a hold of Steve and he realizing what a boob I was they decided to come home early. It was Tysons idea not to tell me they were coming home so they pretended to be in Wisconsin while they would call me as they traveled home. I still don't know if I have convinced Steve that this was the best surprise I could ever have. I know it is sappy but honestly if you know me you know how much family means to me and how I HATE to be alone!

Bobbie's blabberingshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09313781959670356318noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773822763368851095.post-36445790712187959672008-07-22T15:50:00.000-07:002008-07-22T16:22:09.336-07:00Let's meet Max! This is Maximus Eralius (from the gladiators) but he goes by Max. He is a chi-who-a-who-a (that's how my dil pronounces it. Ok dil stands for daughter in law also known as Lianna, Jeremy's wife. He is the cutest little biscuit and has adapted well to his new home. Jeremy got this grease jacket out of a dvd case when he got the movie and believe me it is small. When he lays on his side his black spots on his sides turns into a heart. I haven't seen this little man for a while and I miss him. When I was little we always had dogs and now we are on our last one, Missy. She is a boxer and such a good dog. She is inside because our last dog, bubba (he was also a boxer) was poisoned. I was trying to include a picture of our boxer and I don't know what happened but the picture isn't that great and I can't seem to get rid of it. Anyways that is missy. I can hardly wait for the two of them to get together and see how they do. Missy will most likely be afraid, but then she will adapt.

Bobbie's blabberingshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09313781959670356318noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773822763368851095.post-70935448172914369942008-07-15T17:31:00.000-07:002008-07-15T17:52:32.630-07:00Patience...Many years ago when I was a student at BYU we had a concert that was coming to the Marriott Center and I and some of my buddies wanted tickets way bad. So we camped out at the Marriott Center in the stands sleeping in the seats waiting for these to go on sale. I remember thinking back then how much I hated doing that, how impatient I really was and wasn't even sure by the time I got my tickets that it was worth it. My roomates and I had alot of male company at our apartment in Heritage Halls and I had a roomate who didn't go out alot. Well one day as we were all primping for our nights activities, (mind you we only had one bathroom) she yells that she needs the bathroom. Another roomate yells out "Patience is a virtue" and she yells back "So is chastiy". I have never forgotten that statement, probably because I was on the less than virtuous side. Who knows, but over the years I have learned that patience is a virture. In my own life I have never had alot of patience. As I get older it is getting easier for me to "wait" for things. Recently my sister has had to exhibit alot of patience waiting for her much needed surgery. Now that it is done, she will have to wait to heal. I have watched her and been amazed at her attitude. Mind you she has been frustrated as we all have but the other day as I sat in her room at the hospital, she being sound asleep and not even knowing that I was there, I was amazed at how much she had gone thru, what an example she is to me of patience with trials and obstacles that come into a persons life and I don't know that I could have been as strong. Her trials started some 2 plus years ago and not just one but one after another and for me this last one would have been the one that broke the camels back. Instead she has weathered each and every storm with dignity, she is my example. One thing that I have observed as she has been hospitalized a couple of times before the actual surgery was the amount of love that her co-workers have for her. I have personally never met so many nice people who thought my sis was the best. Now in the younger years growing up I might have disagreed, but actually she deserves every accolade. Sis you are the best! You are such an example to me in many ways and I love you very much.Bobbie's blabberingshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09313781959670356318noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773822763368851095.post-45743597282732349982008-07-06T16:55:00.000-07:002008-07-06T17:15:11.895-07:00The latest and greatest invention...............at least that I have seen. We have awesome friends who always seem to win everything under the sun. Of course he labels himself the chairman of fun and I do believe it fits him to a "T". So they are golfing in Page, Arizona and win a cooler in the tournament. They are thinking it might be kind of a dumb gift until they see it. It is an electric cooler, complete with a seat and back rest, accomodating handle bars, and speed like no other. If you are not careful you might even tip over if you go to fast on a turn. I have not laughed this hard for a long time. It was way fun! I am told you can buy these at Cabelas for around $399.99. With gas prices the way they are it might be a wise investment. By the way in this same golf tournament they won a set of golf clubs as well. If you want to have a good time let me know, I can hook you up with the chairman of fun!

Bobbie's blabberingshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09313781959670356318noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773822763368851095.post-30148499307304305512008-07-02T05:24:00.001-07:002008-07-02T05:33:44.932-07:00Different shoes to work?So here I am at work last week, trying to represent the company I work for professionally and my co-workers point out to me in a somewhat gentle way, my shirt is on inside out. This is after a couple of hours working. I thank them and fix the shirt. The next day I am shopping with my daughter after work, and while she is trying on clothes I decide to sit down and relax. It had been a long day and I was tired. Well as I am sitting there looking at my feet, counting the holes in my shoes, they are there for decoration not because I can't afford a new pair. I notice that there aren't as many holes in the shoe on my right foot as on my left. Then I notice that the blue line that is on my left shoe doesn't go around the right shoe. They are both white but definately NOT the same shoe. Of course I have to call my husband to explain what an idiot I am and I guess I was talking loud because when my daughter came out of the dressing room, I went to tell her the story and she had already heard it. I wonder what all the shoppers that were there that day thought. So this morning as I head out to work and I am wearing the white shoes again I have inspected them to make sure they are matches! Heres to a great day at work! By the way my shirt is not on inside out.Bobbie's blabberingshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09313781959670356318noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773822763368851095.post-43926958725101337162008-06-25T17:43:00.000-07:002008-06-25T18:01:49.006-07:00I am a somewhat challenged biscuit....and bug bitesWhen it comes to technology and navigating my way around a computer program I am not familiar with, I would say I am somewhat challenged. Probably not so much that I can't figure it out as the fact that I just don't want to spend the energy because my brain is usually tired when I need to know this information. So here I am doing a blog that I really don't know much about. I have had several people tell me they tried to leave comments and weren't able to. Apparently you need to sign up with an account for google? I did find out after testing with my co-worker that you can submit a comment under annoymus without having to sign up, the problem is how will I know who cared enough to leave me a comment? So if you do comment please let me know who you are. I heard thru the grapevine that a friend of mine read my blog, because of his wifes encouragement and he decided it was boring. Thanks criddy! Don't worry my feelings aren't hurt in the least. So if anyone knows an easier way to leave comments or an easier site to navigate let me know. I am adaptable. You will probably notice how plain this blog is, maybe that is why Criddy didn't like it :}

Now for the bug bites. I have 2 children that are african american or a mix thereof. Whenever the bugs are out they tend to attract themselves to these children and leave bug bites. We can all be together in the same area at the same time and these two will end up covered in bug bites, swollen to say the least and very itchy. The rest of us will be fine. My kids say it's because bugs like chocolate milk. I have always wondered why they attract the bites. If anyone knows the answer to this please feel free to share. In our family we always have a bottle of calamine ready!
I have used other anti-itch medicines only to come back to calamine (this is a free advertisement if you ask me). By the way the bug bites are all bugs, not just mosquitoes.Bobbie's blabberingshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09313781959670356318noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773822763368851095.post-86378064713372046992008-06-21T11:12:00.000-07:002008-06-21T11:26:38.421-07:00Let's ramble about weeds and....In my younger day I LOVED working in my flowers. I would spend hours! So for today I was going to tackle the weeds that have attacked my yard. Chemlawn takes care of the lawn and we mostly have shrubs and rocks around the house but there is a couple of spots that are not getting the hint. Put the ground barrier down, cover with rocks and nothing will come thru....that is a joke. Well I didn't get very far, decided the job was to big and I was to tired to do it.

So instead we are off to the pool for the day to relax and get a TAN! I love the sun especially when I can jump in the water to cool off anytime I want. That is why I love Lake Powell, it is so beautiful and peaceful and in July and August the water is perfect for my hide. You may not know that I am scared to death of water. I have to have a life vest on or something to hold on to if I can't touch the bottom. Don't swim very well, but have found out that fat floats and because I am not a size 2 I can actually lay on my back and float without sinking so that is good!

As I thought about this whole blog thing last night while falling asleep, so many topics came to mind that I could blabber about. Those who know me know that I can change subjects in the middle just because a thought came along. If my ramblings start repeating themselves someone tell me. Otherwise hang on because you might get lost somewhere in the middle reading all this stuff.

And in case you care...less than 24 hours and my indiana son comes home. My bear lake biscuit (biscuit has alot of meanings and I use it alot. In this case it is means my son), came home. By the way I have to thank Brandon for my hide and my biscuit sayings. Hope all is well in Aruba!Bobbie's blabberingshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09313781959670356318noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773822763368851095.post-91500855416892408242008-06-20T20:03:00.000-07:002008-06-20T20:24:33.504-07:00All alone....It has been suggested for a long time that I start a blog. Maybe because my life is not boring, or I am just weird or both but I finally have given in and decided to try this out! For those who know me best I do not like to be alone. Of course I am listening to David Archuleta sing as loud as I can stand it. The dog finally gave up and chose to go outside. I think it was to loud for her ears.
So here I am listening to David, loving every minute of it and wondering what he has in store for him. Some of my kids are out of town, and some are just hanging out on the town and one is going to be coming home from scout camp. He is my baby and has decided to spend his summer up at Bear Lake in the Aquatics camp. It's only been 1 week and I already miss him to death. Those who know me best know that I can be very emotional, especially when it comes to my children. My third son will be coming home from Indiana on Sunday, he has been selling security systems. I can't wait to see him. I hope whomever reads this will get a kick out of the stories and dreams. It is not mean't to hurt anyone but instead to maybe let others realize that life can be hard, fun, emotional and downright ugly sometimes. It might help someone who is struggling in one area or another to read this and get a laugh. I promise that what you read here is the truth. As a kid I was a great liar, I think for fear of being killed by my parents, but as an adult I absolutely hate lying. So what I put on here is the truth as I live it and see it. Another disclaimer, I am not an english major, in fact hated it in school so my commas, to,too, semi colons etc will never be in the right place but I think you will get the point. I do pride myself on being a great speller so hopefully that won't come into play. I promise never to use the spell check. I really don't know if they even have one on this. Someday soon I hope I might even have a picture or two on this blog. But for now, I don't even have a camera in my possession.

So here is my dream from last night (I have very weird dreams and remember them all at least for a day or so).

I am known to despise water and for some reason in my dream I was at a friends house and their water was in limited supply. They were having a big party and told everyone to not drink any water or that would really hurt their family. I took every chance I could to sneak a drink but it seemed that as soon as I put my lips to the cups someone came in and I couldn't get that drink.

When I woke up this morning I was dying of thirst. I drank 3 huge glasses of water while I was getting ready for work and another huge one on the way. Once I was at work I still was drinking water, I could not get enough. I will usually do anything to not have to drink water.......SO anyone who would like to intrepret my dreams go ahead I am listening....Bobbie's blabberingshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09313781959670356318noreply@blogger.com1
